Toei's Japanese Tokusatsu Super Sentai series' 50th-anniversary commemorative work, Number One Sentai Gojujer (ナンバーワン戦隊ゴジュウジャー), has officially premiered. Bandai Spirits also simultaneously launched DX toys such as the "DX Tega Sword (tentative translation)" and the "DX Tega Sword (tentative translation) Sentai Ring Set". Multiple products were officially released on February 15, 2025.
The golden Tega Sword is the power borrowed from the giant god Tega Sword by the five socially ostracized warriors in the series—Goju Wolf, Goju Lion, Goju Tyranno, Goju Hawk, and Goju Unicorn—to confront the evil army "Braidan". In transformation device mode, it can be used with "Sentai Rings" to transform, wield the powers of past warriors, and even perform a "human-god fusion" transformation into a giant robot mode, showcasing the unique combat styles of each Gojujer.
・DX Tega Sword (DXテガソード) Reference Price: 7,150 JPY (Tax Included)
The standard edition includes the DX Tega Sword main unit, the Sentai Ring "Goju Wolf", and the Sentai Ring "Tega Sword Red". In transformation device mode, it can be played with using the built-in light-up, sound-emitting device, and sensors. By combining the two rings with a characteristic clapping transformation pose, it can emit in-series music and sound effects to recreate transformation scenes and special move activations.
The DX Tega Sword is also a Sentai robot toy, designed with an intricate transformation mechanism to recreate its robot mode. When the Sentai Ring "Tega Sword Red" forms the head, it becomes the machine used by Goju Wolf. In this mode, the arms feature simple articulation, and it can also utilize rich light and sound effects. Pressing the button on the back will make the chest light up and play special move sound effects!
・DX Tega Sword (tentative translation) Sentai Ring Set Reference Price: 12,430 JPY (Tax Included)
The Sentai Ring Set adds five types of Sentai Rings compared to the standard edition: Boonboomger, King-Ohger, Donbrothers, Ryusoulger, and Zyuranger, along with the "Beast Claw Belt" for storing the rings. The ring illustrations feature a double-layer design, allowing the image to change and power to be unleashed by rotating 180 degrees. Each ring, imbued with the power of Sentai predecessors, can be mounted on the DX Tega Sword, activating lights and sounds in conjunction.
