T-ARTS, the toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY company, has unveiled a super cute Sanrio character-themed new product – the "Hello Kitty and Friends Changing Clothes" blind box. This is the first blind box series, "PERIHAPI! (ペリハピ)", launched to celebrate the 60th anniversary of gashapon's arrival in Japan. The suggested retail price is 1,870 JPY per box, with an anticipated release in August 2025!
The "PERIHAPI!" series will leverage T-ARTS' design experience from its "TWINCHEES" bagged blind-draw series, which was developed for overseas markets, to create larger, more exquisitely detailed character figures! This "Hello Kitty and Friends Changing Clothes" blind box features Sanrio characters in dynamic poses as they change clothes, rendered into figures approximately 4.1 to 7.6 cm tall. The collection includes eight types: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Pochacco, My Melody, Kuromi, and two secret color variations for My Melody and Kuromi. They are depicted wearing oversized sweaters, with sculpted details faithfully reproducing the sweater textures. Their interactions with the ill-fitting sweaters are incredibly adorable, and the small tags on the sweaters haven't even been removed yet – it looks like there's still time to return them if the size isn't right!
