Japanese company Aniplex (株式会社アニプレックス) has announced its latest product based on the TV anime "KILL la KILL": the "KILL la KILL 1/7 Scale Figure", with a suggested retail price of 79,000 JPY, scheduled for release in September 2026.
The "KILL la KILL 1/7 Scale Figure" is based on the special illustration drawn by character designer Sushio (すしお) Ishizaki Hisao-sensei to commemorate the anime's 10th anniversary, bringing Ryuko Matoi and Mako Mankanshoku to life in their pose sitting on the DTR robot! Standing approximately 27 cm tall, this large-scale figure is packed with highlights. It perfectly recreates the relaxed pose of the two leaning on each other, with detailed paintwork on their uniforms and soft skin textures that contrast sharply with the DTR; in addition to the intricate mechanical structural details, it also includes multiple decorative stickers to recreate the original illustration's image! (The product comes unapplied, stickers need to be affixed by the user.) The vibrant color scheme and abundant elements are highly anticipated! The soundly sleeping Guts makes the overall presentation even richer and cuter! Furthermore, the uniform armor worn by the DTR can be freely attached and detached, allowing for two different looks.
