Developed jointly by TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand "T-SPARK" and Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, the new assembly model series "METAMOR VERSE", which combines robot IPs such as "Zoids" and "Transformers" with bishoujo (beautiful girl) bodies, has announced the commercialization of its new product "Hatsune Miku x Shinkalion H5 Hayabusa". The release date is yet to be determined.
Hatsune Miku is a derivative character from the anime "Shinkalion" based on Hatsune Miku, and is also voiced by voice actress Saki Fujita. In the show, she serves as a Shinkalion pilot for the Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute's Hokkaido branch. She possesses the same green hair as the original Hatsune Miku, which led to her piloting the similarly colored "H5 Hayabusa". With her excellent kendo skills, she can use the Ticket Gate Sword to defeat giant monster bodies.
Currently, only the character design illustration for "METAMOR VERSE Hatsune Miku x Shinkalion H5 Hayabusa" has been revealed. The product will include an articulated Hatsune Miku body and an SD-scale H5 Hayabusa. Compared to the 11-year-old girl design in the anime, the model's Hatsune Miku is closer to the original's mature design and features an original mecha musume form that incorporates the characteristics of the H5 Hayabusa.
