Japan's BANDAI toy company's Shokugan division, BANDAI CANDY, has announced its latest product based on the super popular "Chiikawa": the "Chiikawa Character Art Case" (tentative translation, キャラテアートケース). There are 8 types in total, with a reference price of 462 JPY per box, scheduled for release in November 2025!
The "Chiikawa Character Art Case," themed around cafe 3D latte art, transforms the popular characters into latte foam designs. The lineup includes: Chiikawa Latte, Hachiware Latte, Usagi Latte, Momonga Latte, Chestnut Manju Latte (looks delicious!), Otter Hero Latte, Shisa Latte, and Furuhon Latte. The fluffy 3D foam designs are incredibly therapeutic, and each character's image is complemented by different flavored decorative cookies! Additionally, the coffee cups, which come with small saucers, are available in various colors and paired with characters, featuring delicate character illustrations and English names printed on them, making the overall design rich and adorable! After removing the overflowing latte art from the cup, the inside of the cup can also be used to store small items – it looks edible, but it's actually very practical!
