Three years ago, A24's "Talk to Me" turned a shoestring budget of less than $5 million into a global box office smash, grossing nearly $100 million and earning rave reviews from horror fans. The film's success launched the careers of directing duo Danny and Michael Philippou, catapulting them from their Australian YouTube channel RackaRacka to the cinematic main stage. Now, the brothers are set to unleash their second feature-length horror film, "Bring Her Back," also distributed by A24, and the first trailer has just been released.

"Bring Her Back" is co-written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman, who also served as a co-writer on "Talk to Me." The cast includes Sally Hawkins, an Academy Award nominee for "The Shape of Water," and Billy Barratt, who recently played the younger version of the Chameleon in "Kraven the Hunter." The film is scheduled for a summer release this year, but a specific date has not yet been announced, and plot details are being kept tightly under wraps.
In addition to "Bring Her Back," the Philippou brothers announced two years ago that they would continue to work with A24 on a sequel to "Talk to Me", though no further developments have been reported.
