Japan's official Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, has announced the latest limited-edition product from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", the "RG 1/144 God Gundam Hyper Mode", slated for release on March 8, 2025. This product is currently available exclusively for "THE GUNDAM BASE MEMBERS" members.
The GF13-017NJII God Gundam is the latest cutting-edge Mobile Fighter independently developed by Dr. Mikamura. As the successor machine to protagonist Domon Kasshu, many of its machine performance and armament features are similar to its predecessor, the "Shining Gundam". It is equipped with an "Energy Multiplier System" that converts Domon's ki into energy, and its overall performance is greatly enhanced when "Hyper Mode" is activated. The six heat sinks on its back form a halo, granting the machine a magnetic coating, and it can unleash the incredibly passionate special move, "Bakunetsu God Finger"!
Released in 2022, the "RG 1/144 God Gundam" not only continues the series' characteristic high-density details and precisely color-separated exterior armor design but also boasts the largest range of articulation in RG history. It incorporates various newly designed joint structures to reproduce the flexible, human-like movements seen in the show, allowing for dynamic poses that combine both power and beauty.
This limited-edition product, the "RG 1/144 God Gundam Hyper Mode", is also based on the regular version. All armor parts on its body are treated with four different shades of gold electroplating, showcasing the brilliant golden body that shines dazzlingly upon activating "Hyper Mode". The product also includes a clear yellow molded display stand and a double-sided illustrated screen background, allowing you to display the shouting famous lines of Domon & Master Asia, the powerful scene of unleashing the Sekiha Tenkyoken, and the God Gundam itself.
