Hong Kong toy company STORM COLLECTIBLES, which has released numerous action figures of game and comic characters, following the previously released "Ken," has once again unveiled a new product themed after "Street Fighter Alpha 3" in its new "STORM ARENA" series — the "Ryu" 1/12 scale action figure. It has a suggested retail price of US$26 and is estimated to ship in Q2 2025!
"Street Fighter Alpha 3" (English title: Street Fighter Alpha 3) is an arcade fighting game released by Capcom in 1998, which further expanded the roster of playable characters from its predecessor, "Street Fighter Alpha 2." Ryu in the game disregards glory and wealth, always living for the next fight, but after becoming the champion of the first Street Fighter tournament, he unexpectedly became a target for M. Bison and Evil Ryu.
This STORM ARENA Ryu brings his appearance from "Street Fighter Alpha 3" to life in three dimensions, meticulously sculpting his youthful face and muscular physique. The torn cuffs of his white gi and the texture of the fabric are also faithfully reproduced without compromise! Accessories include two head sculpts, two sets of interchangeable hands, and his iconic "Hadoken" effect, allowing him to be displayed with the previously revealed Ken to recreate various dynamic battle scenes! The pixel-style backdrop in the official product images is truly amazing!
