Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular action figure series "MAFEX" will release a new product based on the Star Wars spin-off series "Obi-Wan Kenobi" - the "Darth Vader" action figure. The suggested retail price is 13,750 JPY, and it is expected to be released in December 2025!
The story of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" continues after the events of the film "Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith," depicting Obi-Wan living in seclusion on Tatooine for nearly 10 years under the alias "Ben" after the Galactic Empire's establishment, silently watching over Luke. However, to help his old friend Senator Bail Organa, he re-emerges, confronting his past that he had tried to escape.
This Darth Vader figure stands approximately 17 cm tall and features the appearance from his duel with Obi-Wan in the final episode of the "Obi-Wan Kenobi" series. The sculpting faithfully recreates the space cotton texture of Vader's suit and the intricate details on his chest respirator. It also includes a helmet accessory damaged by a lightsaber! The underskirt and cape are made of fabric, and notably, the underskirt's design finally minimizes its impact on articulation, allowing for more dynamic poses with the included abundant lightsaber effect parts, freely showcasing his powerful presence!
