The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts" from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced its latest product from the anime "Dragon Ball: DAIMA", the "S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan 4 Kid Goku -DAIMA-" action figure! The suggested retail price is 8,250 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2025!
Goku's original form, "Super Saiyan 4", which appeared in the anime "Dragon Ball GT", is quite iconic, with its body covered in red fur and the ability to unleash a red Kamehameha with ten times the power. However, because the original creator, Akira Toriyama-sensei, was not involved in the anime's production, it was considered a spin-off. Now, in the new anime "Dragon Ball: DAIMA" (Dragon Ball Daima), released to commemorate the Dragon Ball series' 40th anniversary, the shrunken Goku transforms into his Super Saiyan 4 form, personally designed by the late Akira Toriyama-sensei. The design also features slight adjustments from before. Super Saiyan 4 has finally been made canon~~
The "S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan 4 Kid Goku -DAIMA-" action figure, despite its small size of approximately 8 cm tall, utilizes the articulation structure developed within the series to recreate various in-show actions even at this scale! It faithfully reproduces the design with peach-pink fur growing on the body after transformation, with hair and eyebrows also turning peach-pink, and sharp red pupils; the muscular chest and fur texture are meticulously sculpted! In addition to a standard expressionless face, it includes a smiling face, a gritting teeth face, and two shouting faces with different mouth openings for replacement. It can recreate a series of Kamehameha poses from battles with the Third Eye!
Additionally, it includes effect parts and interchangeable hand parts for use with the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Kid Goku -DAIMA-".
