TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., today announced that the latest product from the robot-themed action figure series 'ROBOT魂', 'Mazinger X & Jet Scrambler X' from 'Grendizer U', is scheduled for release in August 2025.
Appearing in 'Grendizer U', Mazinger X is a unit that was extensively damaged after Mazinger Z battled a Saucer Beast, and was subsequently repaired. This machine was modified using technology from Grendizer and analysis of the Saucer Beasts. Theoretically, its output is ten times greater than the original, but since the Graviton Circuit is not yet complete, it can currently only unleash 30% of its power. It is equipped with an X-shaped 'Jet Scrambler X' on its back, granting it flight capabilities.
The main body of the 'ROBOT魂 Mazinger X & Jet Scrambler X' stands approximately 15 cm tall, faithfully reproducing its refined in-show design while featuring flexible articulation. When combined with the massive Jet Scrambler X, it achieves a powerful silhouette, capable of recreating aerial combat flight poses. For weaponry, the arm parts can be replaced to recreate the 'Mazinger X-Blade' weapon with its deployed X-shaped blades.
