Produced by Japan's PLEX Company and released by X-PLUS Company, the popular soft vinyl figure series "DefoReal (デフォリアル)," which incorporates intricate realistic details into cute, deformed proportions, is set to release its latest product based on the movie "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire": "DefoReal Godzilla (2024) EVOLVED Ver." The suggested retail price is 15,400 JPY, with an estimated release in May 2025!
The sequel to "Godzilla vs. Kong," "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire," sees human society learning to coexist with the Titans after the explosive showdown between Godzilla and Kong. Godzilla repels threatening Titans one by one on the surface, while Kong remains in the Hollow Earth. However, the colossal ape "Scar King" from a mysterious corner seeks to rule the surface world. To confront him, Godzilla absorbs radiation from a French nuclear power plant and devours the energy from Tiamat's lair within an Antarctic iceberg, reawakening his combat power, with magenta energy emanating from his dorsal fins.
The "DefoReal Godzilla (2024) EVOLVED Ver." measures approximately 12 cm in height and 24 cm in length. While maintaining a cute 2.5-head proportion, it incorporates Godzilla's pink form as he evolves and awakens after absorbing energy. The figure meticulously reproduces Godzilla's rough skin texture and sharp claws. The multi-layered paint application on the dorsal fins perfectly captures the realistic effect of pink energy emanating from them. Its sharp gaze, dynamic forward-leaning pose, and the dust effect behind it recreate the powerful presence seen in the film as he enters the Hollow Earth with Kong, preparing for the final battle against Scar King!
The Shonen Ric Limited Edition includes a power unit, allowing the eyes and dorsal fins to light up!
