BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan has announced a new project combining Gunpla models and board games, 'GUNDAM ASSEMBLE'. It will collaborate with the Gundam collectible card game 'GUNDAM CARD GAME', and will first release a total of 12 mini Gundam models for use as board game pieces within four "Starter Deck GUNDAM ASSEMBLE Sets", scheduled for release on July 12, 2025.
Scheduled to launch in 2026, 'GUNDAM ASSEMBLE' is a tabletop strategy board game featuring mobile suits from various Gundam series for strategic battles. It boasts game settings that reflect each mobile suit's characteristics, scenarios adapted from the original works, and original scenes that transcend different worldviews. Each board game model, approximately 5 cm tall, is composed of single-color molded Gunpla parts, allowing players to paint and customize their mobile suits.
The collaborative products being released are four starter decks: "Heroic Beginnings [ST01A]", "Wings of Advance [ST02A]", "Zeon's Rush [ST03A]", and "SEED Strike [ST04A]". Each deck includes 3 mini Gundam models, allowing you to play with the models while you're playing cards.
