Gareth Evans, the British director who rose to fame with the acclaimed martial arts action series "The Raid," is finally set to release his long-awaited new feature film, "Havoc." After his 2018 Netflix film "Apostle" and his recent focus on producing the crime series "Gangs of London," Evans' latest project, also distributed by Netflix, has just unveiled its first promotional poster (below) and debut trailer.
Filming for "Havoc" originally wrapped in 2021, with two weeks of reshoots taking place last year. The extensive post-production process primarily accounted for the lengthy delay.

Evans wrote and directed the film, which features a star-studded cast including Tom Hardy, Jessie Mei Li, Luis Guzmán, Timothy Olyphant, and Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker.
The official synopsis states: After a drug deal goes awry, a politician's estranged son finds himself in danger. To save him, a traumatized detective must navigate the criminal underworld. In the process, he gradually uncovers the hidden powers controlling the city, revealing a complex web of corruption and conspiracy. The film is slated for release on Netflix.
