Synopsis: In a not-too-distant future where resources are scarce and strictly controlled, the choice to have a child is no longer a right. Mia and Aliyan are one of the few couples permitted to undergo a mysterious assessment for the right to conceive after passing a brutal screening process. To further prove their worthiness, they must face the cold, elusive assessor, Virginia, who moves in with them for one week while posing as a child to constantly challenge their patience.
Over seven grueling days, Mia and Aliyan are pushed to the brink of their sanity. The tests ultimately devolve into a series of psychological nightmares, forcing them to confront their deepest insecurities and shaking the foundations of their relationship and what it truly means to them to become parents.
