The action figure brand S.H.Figuarts, released by BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS in Japan, has launched a new product based on the popular anime "One Piece" – the "Tony Tony Chopper -Egghead Island-" action figure. The suggested retail price is 4,400 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2025!
The "Egghead Island Arc" immediately follows the "Wano Country Arc" and is the thirty-second arc of "One Piece," as well as the first arc of its final saga. After the Straw Hat Pirates caused a ruckus on Onigashima in Wano Country and Luffy became the Fifth Emperor, they finally arrived at the dwelling of the legendary scientist Dr. Vegapunk: Egghead Island, gradually getting closer to the truth of this world and the location of the final great treasure – Laugh Tale!
This S.H.Figuarts Chopper action figure stands approximately 7.5 cm tall and features his blue futuristic outfit from the Egghead Arc. The sculpting faithfully recreates the details of his helmet and long futuristic suit, with the orange goggles rendered in a translucent colored material, giving the overall texture a rich layered feel! The articulation for the hands and head appears excellent, while the leg articulation might be limited by the long suit design. Accessories include three interchangeable face parts and a dedicated stand, allowing fans to recreate his various comical and adorable poses from the series!
This release also continues a feature of the S.H.Figuarts One Piece series, including a smiling face part for Luffy, which can be displayed together with the "Monkey D. Luffy -Egghead Island-" figure, scheduled for release in May!
