Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, under its highly popular "Ichiban Kuji" (Ichiban Kuji) series, which guarantees a prize with every draw, will launch new merchandise themed after the popular anime "Natsume's Book of Friends"—"Natsume's Book of Friends: Sending Summer Greetings." The reference price is 750 JPY per draw, and it is scheduled to begin on June 7, 2025!
"Natsume's Book of Friends" is a manga series created by manga artist Yuki Midorikawa, which was adapted into a TV anime in 2008 by Brain's Base. It tells the story of Natsume Takashi, a boy who can see yokai, and who inherits the "Book of Friends" from his grandmother Reiko, which contains the names of yokai she defeated. He decides to return the names with Nyanko-sensei, who protects him, resolving misunderstandings and understanding the loneliness and warmth of the yokai.
This "Natsume's Book of Friends: Sending Summer Greetings" will offer prizes of different tiers, including A to G, the Last One Prize, and the Double Chance Prize. The A Prize, revealed in advance, is a Nyanko-sensei shaped night light, which renders Nyanko-sensei lying on his back in 3D. When switched on, it will illuminate its surroundings with a warm yellow light, super cute! Detailed prize information will be announced later, which is highly anticipated!
