Currently on the promotional circuit for their upcoming Netflix sci-fi epic "The Electric State", directors Anthony and Joe Russo, collectively known as the Russo Brothers, are frequently fielding questions about their two highly anticipated, billion-dollar Marvel blockbusters: "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars." For instance, Collider recently inquired about the estimated runtimes for "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars." The brothers projected "Avengers: Doomsday" to clock in at roughly two and a half hours, with "Avengers: Secret Wars" extending to about three hours. These estimates align closely with their previous "Avengers" films, "Avengers: Infinity War" (approximately two and a half hours) and "Avengers: Endgame" (around three hours). However, they noted that final runtimes could still change after production and editing are complete.

Regarding the official announcement of the full cast and character lineup for the fifth and sixth installments, Joe Russo stated, "Not until you step into the theater."

When pressed on concerns about paparazzi potentially leaking plot details through set photos, the Russo Brothers expressed strong confidence in their preventative measures. They assured that security protocols are exceptionally strict, and a significant portion of filming will take place indoors, making it challenging for photographers to capture any footage. Even for outdoor shoots, locations are meticulously chosen with anti-paparazzi considerations in mind. "Avengers: Doomsday" is slated for a North American release on May 1, 2026, while "Avengers: Secret Wars" is set to follow on May 7, 2027.
