The "SYNERGENEX" series, an external collaboration toy line launched by T-SPARK, a high-end toy brand under Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, has officially announced the second collaboration product with the popular video game "Monster Hunter": "Knuckle Kong Seiten," scheduled for release in October 2025.
The latest installment in the series, "Monster Hunter Wilds," officially launched on February 28th. Undoubtedly, both new and veteran hunters spent a fulfilling weekend on this new wilderness integrated into the ecosystem. Currently, most large monsters in the game are new faces making their debut in "Wilds." However, one "Crimson Ape Beast" (赫猿獸) exhibits movements extremely similar to the venerable "Rajang" (金獅子). It remains to be seen if future free updates will bring back "Rajang," allowing for an epic showdown with the Crimson Ape Beast.
This product is a modified version based on the Zoid "ZW10 Knuckle Kong" that appeared in "Zoids Wild Blast," and is designed as a specialized unit for hunting Rajang. The entire unit utilizes molded part colors and metallic paint to represent Rajang's jet-black body and the golden horns on its head. Furthermore, numerous new parts are used to create new armaments that incorporate Rajang's original features, such as the head's "Discharge Fins/Thunder Horns," the back's "Electric Sword," and the tail's "Whip Tail / Twin Barrel Crossbow," significantly enhancing its attack power.
The kit's play features are the same as the original "ZW10 Knuckle Kong." Users attach the included exterior armor parts to the movable frame, gradually transforming it from "Skeletal Form" to "Complete Form." The built-in electric mechanism allows it to walk on all fours. Simultaneously, activating the "Instinct Release Mechanism" allows the unit to stand on two legs, begin pounding its chest, and reveal the golden internal structures of its various armaments, expressing an excited state.
