Ahead of the upcoming "Superman" film, set to hit theaters in July 2025, DC Comics is ramping up excitement. The publisher previously unveiled variant covers for the upcoming "Superman Unlimited" #1, prominently featuring director James Gunn and star David Corenswet as Superman. Now, as part of its "Summer of Superman" special initiative, DC is rolling out even more "Supersmash" variant covers, blending the iconic imagery of other heroes with the Man of Steel.

The newly revealed variant covers include "Justice League Unlimited" #7, "Superman" #26, and "The Flash" #21.
For "Justice League Unlimited" #7, the cover features not only Superman himself but also various Justice League heroes like Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Black Lightning, and Green Lantern, all sporting Superman's iconic 'S' emblem on their chests. Their costumes are predominantly rendered in Superman's signature blue palette—with the notable exception of Batman, who, true to form, maintains his classic dark hues.

Meanwhile, "Superman" #26 showcases heroes such as The Flash, Batman, Gorilla Grodd, Detective Chimp, Shazam, Hawkman, and King Shark, all reimagined with Superman's 'S' emblem or his distinctive color scheme, further celebrating the "Summer of Superman" initiative.
And for "The Flash" #21, a sprinting Wally West (The Flash) is depicted in a unique merged costume, combining his iconic speedster suit with Superman's classic attire. One might wonder if this new hybrid suit grants him even greater speed.

DC Comics' "Justice League Unlimited" #7, "Superman" #26, and "The Flash" #21 are all slated for release in May 2025.
