Japanese toy company CCP (CCPJAPAN Co., Ltd.), known for its pursuit of ultimate sculpting, recently announced the "Space Dinosaur Zetton (Second Generation) HIGH GRADE Ver.". Not long after, they unveiled a new addition to their "1/6 Tokusatsu Series" from "Ultraman": the "Space Dinosaur Zetton Battle Stance HIGH GRADE Ver." (宇宙恐竜ゼットン 戦闘体勢 ハイグレード Ver.) pre-painted finished product! It is scheduled for release starting May 2025, with a suggested retail price of 27,500 JPY.
Zetton, the super-powerful monster who was the first to defeat Ultraman, is powerfully sculpted into a 30 cm tall figure! The biggest highlight of this Zetton is undoubtedly its battle stance pose with widely spread arms, a feature previously only seen in specific versions. Whether you want to recreate a confrontation with Ultraman, faithfully reproduce the battle scene from "Goodbye Ultraman" in Episode 39 of "Ultraman", or display it alone, you can feel the overwhelming presence befitting the "Strongest Monster".
This product maintains CCP's consistent meticulousness in sculpting and color expression. This includes the formation of wrinkles on the body surface, the realistic suit-like texture, the weathered paint application around the feet to simulate dust, and the use of translucent orange parts, all of which give this Zetton a more realistic atmosphere. It's also worth noting that the tips of the horns on its head are faithfully painted black, as per the in-show design.
