Super Robot Wars OG Model Kit "HG Wildschwein" Released Today! Official Box Art & Model Photos Revealed!

Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division officially released its latest product, the "HG Wildschwein", from the game "Super Robot Wars OG" on March 8, 2025. Official box art designs, actual product sample images, and other information have also been revealed.

The PTX-007-03C Wildschwein is a PT (Personal Trooper) designed for artillery combat, modified from the "Gespenst Mk-II Type T" within the ATX Project, known for its extreme machine designs. It is piloted by Excellen Browning and operates in tandem with the "Alteisen", a decisive close-combat PT piloted by Kyosuke Nanbu. The Wildschwein is equipped with a Tesla Drive and features significantly lightened armor throughout, making it the first PT capable of independent flight in humanoid form. While possessing excellent mobility, its durability and defense are extremely low, making it suitable for supporting the Alteisen from the rear with long-range armaments such as the "Lance Smasher".

▼ The kit is molded in colors such as white, blue, navy, yellow, red, brown, transparent green for the twin-eye cameras, and transparent pink for the "Plasma Sword" blade effect. A small number of parts require color correction with stickers.

▼ The entire model achieves a high level of completion even with a straight build, faithfully reproducing the elegant blue and white color scheme and the fragmented yellow armor sections on both shoulders.

The "HG Wildschwein" is designed in the style of Masami Obari from the anime version, while also incorporating the original "Gespenst Custom" settings by Wildschwein designer Kazue Saito, thereby showcasing the design and mechanisms evolved from the "HG Gespenst". The overall design reproduces the armor composed of numerous curved surfaces, the characteristic "Tesla Drive" wings on the back, and the three-layered shoulder armor design.

▼ The neck features a two-axis joint design, with the head connected by a ball joint, allowing for a significant backward tilt of the head.

▼ A ball joint and a cylindrical shaft are used between the chest and abdomen parts, and a ball joint is used between the abdomen and waist parts, allowing for forward, backward, left, and right articulation.

▼ The shoulder joints combine vertical and horizontal two-axis movable joints, allowing for significant movement in upward, downward, forward, and backward directions.

▼ This articulation allows for cool poses holding the "Lance Smasher" with both hands.

▼ In addition to standard elbow articulation, the forearm, connected by a ball joint, can also be posed with the elbow facing outwards and the lower arm forming a curve, creating a powerful stance when combined with a clenched fist.

▼ In the original design of the front skirt armor, the protruding armor on both sides of the upper central part caused the left and right skirt armors to be almost immovable. Most previously released Wildschwein models integrated those two parts with the left and right skirt armors. However, the "HG" version features a movable mechanism designed for the central section of the skirt armor, allowing it to flip upwards, thus resolving the articulation interference with the left and right skirt armors.

▼ The side skirt armors are connected by double ball joints with a locking mechanism, providing both connection strength and multi-directional flexible articulation.

▼ With the above design, the lower body can achieve a cool high-kneeling pose.

▼ The central stabilizer wing on the backpack and the four wings on both sides can all swing up and down. Furthermore, the upper two wings can swing forward and backward, creating different angles from the lower wings to enhance the three-dimensional effect.

▼ The main armament, the "Lance Smasher", reproduces its designated colors with multi-color molded parts and stickers for color correction, boasting a length comparable to the main unit.

▼ The "Triple Beam Cannon" mounted on the left arm can reproduce its deployed barrel state by swapping parts.

▼ The close-combat weapon, the "Plasma Sword", includes a transparent pink molded blade effect part.

▼ The backpack can mount the "Multi-launch Missile" magazine from the separately sold "HG Gespenst".
