Following the "Imperial Stormtrooper (Animation Version)" and "Imperial Stormtrooper Squad Commander (Animation Version)," HONŌ STUDIO, the new brand under the world-renowned collectible toy manufacturer Hot Toys that brings together many excellent designers globally, has once again unveiled a new product celebrating the annual Star Wars Day on May 4th for fans: the "Darth Vader (Animation Version)" 1/6 scale collectible action figure, based on the spin-off animated series Star Wars: Rebels. The suggested retail price is USD 220, with an estimated shipping date from Q4 2025 to Q1 2026!
Star Wars: Rebels is set 14 years after the execution of Order 66 and 5 years before Star Wars: A New Hope, telling the story of a group of rebels, led by former Jedi Kanan Jarrus, fighting against the Galactic Empire.
This Darth Vader (Animation Version) stands approximately 34 cm tall, faithfully recreating his elongated, cartoon-like appearance from the animated series. The classic Darth Vader spacesuit is crafted from composite materials such as fabric, creating a captivating visual effect with varying shades of black. The control panel on the chest and the functional belt details are accurately reproduced, and the vivid red eyes on the mask convey a sense of oppression distinct from the live-action version!
Accessories include three sets of interchangeable hands, a regular lightsaber hilt, a lightsaber hilt with a red LED light-up effect, and a red lightsaber blade effect part. These can be combined with the figure's flexible articulation to recreate various cool poses from the animation! Furthermore, the base inherits the signature feature of the HONŌ STUDIO series, coming with a display stand for collectible comics. If collectors have Star Wars-themed comics, they can display them together, creating the impression that Darth Vader has stepped right out of the comic book!
