Hatsune Miku

Her character is set at 16 years old, with a birthday on August 31st. Her height and weight are 158 cm and 42 kg respectively. She has teal twin-tails and wears black over-the-knee boots. She specializes in pop songs, rock music, and dance. Her representative color is teal (#39C5BB). Officially, Hatsune Miku is proficient in pop songs from the 1980s to the latest hits. Her preferred tempo is approximately between 70 and 245 BPM (originally set to 70-208, but "The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku" has a tempo of 240, exceeding the original 208). Her preferred vocal range is between A3 and E5 (originally set to C3-E4). The actual software's maximum and minimum limits are G8 and C-2 respectively; output effects above or below a certain pitch will become less ideal, or even result in a quieter voice.
Her outfit and mechanical parts are based on Yamaha's DX series, released in 1983. The initial design for the "01" on her left arm was a QR code, and her original clothing design was a sailor uniform, but Crypton decided it wasn't good enough and changed it to the current design. Her character design is considered superior to MEIKO's from 2004; with only basic, "incomplete" character settings, insisting on an "original setting" is meaningless for creators. Furthermore, Hatsune Miku has little association with her original voice provider, Saki Fujita, allowing for greater creative freedom. Users can thus easily develop affection for "their own created Hatsune Miku," leading to a vast number of works.
SOSKILL - [Hatsune Miku] Sakura Miku - Pink Sonic Boom
Sakura Miku (桜ミク, often referred to as Sakura Hatsune in Chinese-speaking regions) is a derivative character (sub-species) of Hatsune Miku. She originated as creative material by artists and is Hatsune Miku reimagined with a spring cherry blossom theme, in contrast to Snow Miku.
Sakura Miku's hair and clothes primarily feature pink and white, with cherries or cherry blossom petals as head decorations. As a character created based on Hatsune Miku's image, her initial appearance was not significantly different from Hatsune Miku.
The official Sakura Miku first appeared in 2011, with a small approximately 3.5cm Sakura Miku figure given away at the 2011 Hatsune Miku concert. "Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade" added Sakura Miku as a character on April 5, 2011. "Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2," released on April 18, 2013, also features a Sakura Miku character.
The Hatsune Miku main body is approximately 16cm tall, and the motorcycle is approximately 19.5*13*10 cm. The product content is incredibly rich! It includes the Sakura Miku main body, delivery suit armored leg replacement parts, delivery suit side accessories, delivery suit hood, delivery suit belt, roller skate heels, hand types X 7, guitar pick, guitar, PE soft plastic skirt, performance outfit back bow, performance outfit top hat, performance outfit armbands x 2, tape dispenser, delivery box, delivery stand, motorcycle, drone, replacement faces x 4, blank faces x 6, light unit, square stand, round stand, and Sakura Miku cardboard cutouts, among others.
Let's talk about the assembly experience!
Regarding the advantages, according to a "seasoned" model friend of mine, this Hatsune Miku stands at the pinnacle of the 1/12 scale girl model series. Personally, I found the assembly process smooth, with some hidden gate marks. The sculpt and details are abundant. In terms of styling, it fully captures Hatsune Miku's cute and lively image! The highlight, of course, is her twin-tails on both sides! Having one sprue for one beautiful tail is truly a bit crazy... but SOSKILL has perfectly captured the flowing feel of the twin-tails, so my personal evaluation of this Hatsune Miku model is very high!
The motorcycle's design is also very thoughtful. The lighting effects, clear parts, stand, motorcycle, drone, and other designs are all of very high quality! So, overall, it truly is a high-quality model!
This time, the skirt assembly method has been improved. However, after opening the plastic bags, some parts were found to be quite dirty, so it's recommended to clean them with detergent before assembly for a better experience. Additionally, the quality of the water decals is better than last time; there were no instances of them tearing due to being too thin this time. Nevertheless, it's still advisable to spray a protective clear coat after applying the decals!
Areas for improvement include some clear parts where the decals do not stand out well after application, such as the motorcycle's dashboard and the drone's eyes. Furthermore, Hatsune Miku offers diverse play options, but each outfit change requires considerable effort... especially the face parts and skirt. The biggest issue is the substantial volume of Hatsune Miku's "twin-tails," which makes posing somewhat challenging. Side-head movements are completely restricted, and the neck joint might need further adjustment or the use of different materials. Hopefully, the manufacturer can take note to improve playability.
One can truly feel the manufacturer's love for Hatsune Miku through this product! I look forward to SOSKILL releasing more high-quality products for us collectors in the future! I'm ready~~~ Snow Miku!
Keep it up! I love you! (´ε` )♡
