American toy brand SUPER7, dedicated to releasing various pop culture-themed toys, has launched a new product in its DELUXE series, known for its exquisite sculpting and high fidelity: a new item based on the classic animated film "The Iron Giant" — the "Iron Giant" 7-inch articulated figure blister card. The suggested retail price is US$35. It is now available for pre-order at Walmart Collector Con, an online event recently co-hosted by the renowned American supermarket chain Walmart and numerous toy brands. It will later be available on the Super7 official website, with an estimated release in late March 2025!
"The Iron Giant," released in 1999, is adapted from Ted Hughes's 1968 novel of the same name. Directed by Brad Bird and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it tells the adventure story of a young boy, Hogarth Hughes, and the giant robot he unexpectedly discovers in the woods.
Following the ReAction and Super Cyborg series, the Iron Giant is set to debut in Super7's DELUXE series at a 7-inch scale! This DELUXE Iron Giant faithfully recreates his appearance from the film, featuring his iconic iron-gray color scheme in molded plastic. Meticulous sculpting brings out the rivets and mechanical details on his body, and multiple points of articulation throughout his body allow for dynamic poses, recreating his movements through the forest! The packaging features a blister card format, adorned with a beautiful illustration of Hogarth and the Iron Giant under the night sky, enhancing its overall collectible value!
