KADOKAWA's figure brand "KDcolle" will release a new product based on the popular anime "Oshi no Ko" – the "Ai Exhibition Ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 24,750 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2025!
"Oshi no Ko" is a Japanese manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, which was adapted into an anime series by Doga Kobo in 2023. The story follows Gorou Amemiya, an obstetrician working in a rural area, who unexpectedly becomes the attending physician for his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino. However, he is murdered before Ai gives birth and is reincarnated as one of her twins. Tragically, Ai is assassinated at her home one day, and as the twins grow up, they slowly uncover the truth behind Ai's murder.
This KDcolle "Ai Exhibition Ver." figure stands approximately 23 cm tall. It captures Ai's appearance from the newly drawn main visual illustration for "Oshi no Ko" special exhibition, creating a dynamic pose with her hand reaching forward. Her slender legs and delicate fingers are faithfully reproduced, and the intricate details of her stage outfit and the flowing movement of her hair are meticulously sculpted. The hair ornament on her head and the accessories on her clothing are also finely recreated! The paint application features a gradient effect for her hair, and her iconic star-shaped pupils and the patterns on her costume are precisely printed, showcasing her charm as an absolute ace with a dynamic sculpt and exquisite details!
