Japanese toy company Hasegawa's popular "MechatroWeGo" assembly model series is launching a new "Dynamic Collaboration" line. The first installment partners with Go Nagai's classic work "Devilman," bringing forth the latest product, "20 MechatroWeGo Devilman + Akira Fudo"! Priced at 5,390 Japanese Yen, it is scheduled for release in May 2025.

Designed by moderhythm/Kazushi Kobayashi, the "MechatroWeGo" is set in a background where it is a child-specific robot developed by the Japanese company Chubu Mechatronics. Its smooth, adorable design is made to serve children, and its main body features a protective, storable cockpit that can accommodate a child, earning it the title of the world's smallest rideable robot. Its flexible limbs allow children to carry school bags, commute to and from school, and play games, filling their lives with joy.

The 20 MechatroWeGo "Dynamic Collaboration Vol.1 Devilman + Akira Fudo" 1/20 scale assembly model marks the first dream collaboration, featuring "Devilman" as the protagonist. Devilman's blue-green colors, iconic red and yellow eyes, and the devil pattern on the belt are infused into the cute, rounded design of the "MechatroWeGo," which can be recreated using molded colors and stickers. Movable joints are designed throughout, allowing for a variety of cute and fun poses. Additionally, it includes a 3D printed Akira Fudo figure, sculpted by Araken-sensei, which can be placed on the steps of the cockpit hatch. When the hatch is closed, Akira Fudo's fierce gaze creates a fun and contrasting visual!
