Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division is set to release its latest product from "SD Gundam World Heroes", "SDW HEROES Captain Qan[T] GF", on March 22, 2025. The official channels have also released new information, including product box art designs and actual sample images, ahead of its release.
Designed by mechanical designer Toshinao Miyauchi, "Captain Qan[T] GF" is based on the 00 Qan[T] from the "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" series. He is the captain of the "SUPER G-ARMS" unit, leading the GF Astrea Type B and GF Astrea Type F. Its background pays homage to the organization of the same name from the 1990s "SD Command Chronicle" trilogy, and is known as the Reiwa-era "SUPER G-ARMS".
Each part of the "SDW HEROES Captain Qan[T] GF" precisely reproduces the detailed, high-density mechanical design, including the cool "SUPER G-ARMS" unit emblem on its forehead. Multiple green clear parts are also used to represent armaments such as the rifle and shield, which are based on the "GN Sword V" and "GN Sword BIT". Furthermore, a large cannon armament is mounted on its right shoulder.
In addition, this unit conceals a transformation and combination mechanism that links with the GF Astrea Type B and GF Astrea Type F. The three units can be reassembled along with their main bodies and parts to combine into the "General Fortress" form, which stands approximately 20 cm tall and is even larger than the "MG 1/100 Gundam 3.0". Its naming and inspiration also come from the "General Gundam" and "Fortress Emperor" from "SD Command Chronicle".
