The world-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has once again unveiled a new product based on the popular film "Deadpool & Wolverine" – the "Deadpool (Battling Version)" 1/6th scale collectible figure. The suggested retail price is HKD 2,090, with an estimated release in Q2-Q3 2025!
"Deadpool & Wolverine" opens with Deadpool going to find Logan, only to discover he's already dead. Facing a sudden onslaught of TVA hunters, Deadpool battles using Logan's adamantium skeleton as a weapon, all while dancing to *NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye," kicking off the film and sparking a viral dance trend on social media!
This Deadpool (Battling Version) adopts his look from the opening scene. The figure stands approximately 31 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. It appears to be a modified version based on the previously released regular version of Deadpool, transforming his Marvel-reimagined fabric battlesuit into a battle-damaged rendition, meticulously recreating scratches and bullet holes through distressing and weathering paint applications!
In addition to the masked head sculpt, a half-unmasked version and a Wade Wilson head sculpt are included. The detailed sculpting faithfully recreates actor Ryan Reynolds' scarred facial details after his special effects makeup, and the independently movable eyeballs allow for vivid adjustments to his expression!
For accessories, besides the standard katana, Desert Eagle, and other weapons, the biggest highlight is undoubtedly the Wolverine adamantium skeleton accessory set! It includes a bendable silver spine and a skull with an articulated jaw, two bendable silver nunchaku-style Wolverine thigh bones, and claws that can be attached to the wrists. Additionally, it comes with a TVA portal effect diorama base featuring USB-powered LED light-up functionality, perfectly recreating the amusing scene from the film's opening where he wreaks havoc!
