Following two successful original action films, "Bullet Train" and "The Fall Guy," director David Leitch is set to continue his streak of non-franchise projects. Leitch, known for his work on "Deadpool 2" and "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw," has no immediate plans for sequels, opting instead for an entirely original concept for his next feature.

Leitch is currently collaborating with Amazon and MGM on an untitled heist action film, with production slated to begin this summer. The script was penned by Mark Bianculli, co-writer of the Amazon series "Hunters."
The film's plot centers on a crew of robbers who meticulously document their string of crimes on social media, engaging in a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game with law enforcement. Bianculli reportedly spent a decade developing the screenplay. In an exclusive report today, Deadline revealed that Nicholas Hoult has signed on to star in the project, with his involvement expected to commence after he completes promotional duties for the upcoming "Superman" film.
