From Thailand's Godzilla and monster series prototype studio SPIRAL STUDIO, under its Hall of Fame series, comes a new product themed after the movie "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" – the "Kong 2024 (Weaponized Suko Version)" (tentative translation) collectible statue. With a suggested retail price of US$200, it is now available for limited pre-order exclusively on the SPIRAL STUDIO official website, with an estimated shipping date in Q4 2025!
"Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" continues the story from its predecessor, "Godzilla vs. Kong," depicting humanity's new understanding of the world after realizing that life exists not only on the surface but also in the Hollow Earth, and preparing to face new threats from powerful forces within the subterranean world. In the movie, Kong discovers a tribe of his own species in an unexplored region and encounters the infant "Suko." The scene where Kong, facing threats from other apes, directly picks up Suko and swings him as a weapon undoubtedly shocked many fans!
This Kong 2024 (Weaponized Suko Version) brings this hilarious and classic scene from the movie to life in three dimensions. The statue stands approximately 35.6 cm tall, capturing Kong in the dynamic pose of swinging Suko. The sculpt faithfully recreates Kong's muscular physique and various scars, with intricate details like the delicate texture of his fur and his sharp gaze meticulously reproduced. The rocky base also recreates the scene from the movie! The most eye-catching aspect, Suko, is depicted helplessly flying through the air after being ruthlessly grabbed. The paint application reproduces the luster of his orange fur, and his terrified expression clearly shows the little guy looks absolutely petrified!
This time, SPIRAL STUDIO has also produced two other versions of Kong using the same statue sculpt: one with a yellow mechanical gauntlet and another holding a scepter. Interested toy collectors may want to check them out!
