Aoshima Bunka Kyozai Co., Ltd.'s assembly model brand ACKS, which produces the "V.F.G." series of Macross mecha girl assembly models, has announced the latest product from Macross F, the "VF-25S Super Messiah Valkyrie," slated for release in August 2025.
"Variable Fighter Girl" is an assembly model product that combines the transformable fighters from the Macross series with an articulated girl body, the "VF Girl." The fighter itself can replicate the three transformation stages from the anime, while the "VF Girl" body features excellent articulation and can be posed in various ways with interchangeable expressions, hands, and accessories. Both can be enjoyed individually, and through an original transformation mechanism, they can combine to form a cool and cute mecha girl.
The "Super Messiah Valkyrie" released this time is based on the transformable fighter VF-25 Messiah Valkyrie from Macross F. It is a cutting-edge unit utilized by the private military company "S.M.S," possessing characteristics of previous models like the VF-19 Excalibur and VF-22 Sturmvogel, with enhanced performance. It also employs the new "EX-GEAR" pilot suit, which combines joystick and ejection seat functions, and a new "ISC" inertial control system that utilizes the FOLD system to address the issue of excessive G-force load on pilots. This model also features various backpack parts that can be swapped to suit mission requirements, including the high-mobility "Super Pack."
The "V.F.G. Super Messiah Valkyrie" is a modification of the "Messiah Valkyrie" released in 2019. The articulated "VF Girl" body largely reuses previous parts, featuring flexible articulated joints, three pre-painted interchangeable expression parts, as well as color-correcting stickers and eye decal stickers. The difference lies in some abdominal parts being replaced from gray to skin tone, showcasing a sexy cutout costume design.
The fighter part includes the standard VF-25 Messiah Valkyrie body, which reuses existing parts, and newly produced Super Pack enhancement equipment. The Messiah Valkyrie can replicate its FIGHTER, GERWALK, and BATTROID forms through partial transformation and interchangeable parts, and combine with the "VF Girl" body to form the mecha girl configuration.
Each form can also be equipped with "Super Pack parts" to recreate the Super Messiah Valkyrie with its additional armor, large rocket boosters, and micro-missile pods. In FIGHTER mode, the variable main wing mechanism and the deployment of the micro-missile pods can be replicated. GERWALK mode features flexible leg articulation, and BATTROID mode includes a pull-out mechanism for the engine parts.
