Kenelephant "Daruma! Daruma! Daruma!" Blind Box / Gashapon, Featuring Various Absurd and Amusing Daruma Designs!

Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) has announced a new collaboration product with the art unit "Gendai Bijutsu Nitouhei" (Modern Art Second Class Soldier) – "Daruma! Daruma! Daruma!". It will be released simultaneously as both blind box figures and gashapon, with a suggested retail price of 550 JPY per blind box and 500 JPY per gashapon capsule, slated for release in July 2025!

Gendai Bijutsu Nitouhei is an art unit co-managed by Shane Kagonoya and Katsuhito Fujiwara. Although a unit, each artist creates their own distinct works, infusing elements of humor into contemporary art to bring a lighthearted and amusing atmosphere to an otherwise serious field.

This "Daruma! Daruma! Daruma!" collection features Daruma, a recurring motif in their "Da-Bijutsu" (meaning "crude art" or "駄美術") creations. It offers five Daruma-shaped models: Bob-Cut Daruma, Pigeon Daruma, Full-Body Daruma, Slightly Scary Daruma, and Nude Daruma. Taking the classic Daruma from Japanese culture as its theme, the collection combines various amusing and creative ideas to forge entirely new interpretations. Each one is wonderfully absurd and entertaining!
