James Gunn's upcoming "Superman" film has already announced the majority of its cast, but the actors portraying Superman's Kryptonian birth parents, Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van, have remained under wraps, seemingly reserved as a surprise cameo. However, with "Superman" recently holding multiple test screenings, some attendees couldn't keep the secret, prematurely revealing Jor-El's casting to the public.

Leaking outlet ViewerAnon recently revealed that Bradley Cooper, who famously voiced Rocket Raccoon in Gunn's self-written and directed Marvel "Guardians of the Galaxy" trilogy, is reportedly playing Jor-El. His role is said to be brief, appearing for only a few minutes at the film's opening. Previously, rumors circulated that Tom Cruise, who signed a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Pictures last year, would take on the part, but it now appears Cooper is the new Jor-El.
This leak appears to be highly credible, as film journalist Jeff Sneider immediately posted a jab at ViewerAnon as an amateur after the news broke, suggesting they couldn't differentiate between "reporting a cameo before seeing the movie" and "spoiling it after seeing the movie."
