Emily Bett Rickards, who famously portrayed Felicity Smoak in "Arrow," recently revealed on the "Inside of You" podcast that she "might" consider participating in any form of "Arrow" revival. She candidly stated that her motivation wouldn't be for the series itself or the fans, but specifically for the character of Felicity.

During the interview, Rickards reflected on her seven seasons on the show, expressing profound gratitude for the journey. However, she also directly stated that Felicity's character felt somewhat "lost" in the later storylines, which she found regrettable.
"Things got a little messy as the story progressed," she explained, "but I'm still grateful for the show and proud of Felicity." She added, "I wish I could have changed some things for her back then... but I wasn't a writer."
When host Michael Rosenbaum asked if she had ever voiced her concerns to the production team, Rickards admitted, "I did, but I feel like I would be more assertive now, expressing my needs more clearly."

Later in the interview, when asked if she would be willing to return to play Felicity, Rickards gave a definitive "maybe."
She elaborated, "I want to give Felicity the ending she deserves. There are some things I wish she had stood her ground on more. I love Felicity, so I wouldn't return for 'Arrow' or the fans, but for her. Everyone else would just be a bonus!"
Rickards chose to depart "Arrow" after its seventh season, opting not to participate in the main storyline of the final season. However, she did return for the series finale to provide closure for her character.
