Kenelephant and Panasonic Partner for New LUMIX Camera Miniature Collection, Coming as Blind Boxes and Capsule Toys

Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) has partnered with Panasonic's digital camera brand "LUMIX" to release the "LUMIX Camera Miniature Collection." This collection will be available as both blind boxes and capsule toys, with a suggested retail price of 550 JPY per blind box and 500 JPY per capsule. The collection is slated for release in April 2025!

Lumix is Panasonic's digital camera series, first introduced in 2001. Known for its exclusive MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) lens technology and high sensitivity, many cameras in the series feature lenses designed and manufactured under license from Germany's Leica Camera. The brand offers a diverse range of products, from professional full-frame models to compact mirrorless cameras, catering to various user needs.

The new "LUMIX Camera Miniature Collection" shrinks three of the brand's iconic cameras into highly detailed miniatures, each approximately 4cm in size. The lineup includes the newly released 2024 full-frame model, the "S9," the "GH5" – the fifth-generation GH series model featuring 6K photo capabilities – and two color variations of the immensely popular compact automatic camera, the "FX7." In total, there are four distinct styles. The S9 miniature boasts an articulated LCD screen, replicating the real product's flip-out design. The GH5's lens is detachable, adding to its authenticity. The FX7 comes in both Pearl White and Cool Red, and each miniature includes a carabiner engraved with the LUMIX logo, perfect for attaching to bags or keys!
