American toy brand SUPER7's main 3.75-inch carded figure collection series "ReAction Figures" announced two new products from the 1990 film "Gremlins 2: The New Batch" early this morning (11th): "Gizmo (Battle Ready)" and "Mohawk Gremlin"! Pre-orders are now open on the SUPER7 official website, with a suggested retail price of US$20 each.
In the horror-comedy film "Gremlins," released in 1984, the furry, adorable protagonist is named Gizmo, also known as a "Mogwai." Originally a cute, unknown creature kept as a pet, disaster could strike if the owner violated three rules: "no bright lights," "no water," and "no feeding after midnight." In the film, the Gremlins that multiplied after Gizmo came into contact with water later transformed into evil monsters, wreaking havoc without restraint.
In the 1990 sequel film "Gremlins 2," the destructive power and ferocity of the evil Mogwai were greatly amplified. In addition to causing chaos on the streets, they even took over a New York skyscraper to throw a massive party, where one particular Mohawk Gremlin tormented Gizmo mercilessly.
These two carded figures, produced according to the film's settings, are definitely a must-have pair! Gizmo, showing his determination to fight, is equipped with a paperclip bow, pencil arrows, and a red headband in homage to the hero "Rambo." The Mohawk Gremlin, on the other hand, features meticulously sculpted reptilian body textures and a terrifying facial expression.
