Deadpool and Wolverine
In 2018, Wade Wilson used Cable's time-travel device to journey from his native Universe 10005 to Universe 616 (also known as the "Sacred Timeline"), hoping to join the Avengers in that universe, but his request was rejected by Happy. For the next six years, Wade broke up with his girlfriend Vanessa and retired from his "Deadpool" identity, becoming a used car salesman alongside Peter.
At Wade's birthday party, he was suddenly arrested by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) and brought before Mr. Paradox. Mr. Paradox invited Wade to join Universe 616, which Wade gladly accepted, donning his battle suit to become Deadpool once more. Mr. Paradox then revealed that Universe 10005 was gradually collapsing because its "linchpin," Wolverine, had died. Unwilling to wait for the universe to self-destruct, he planned to use a "chronoshredder" to accelerate its demise. To save his universe and friends, Deadpool stole Mr. Paradox's "temporal pad" and rushed to Wolverine's grave, attempting to resurrect him, only to find merely an Adamantium skeleton remaining. Deadpool then traversed the multiverse, searching for Wolverine's mutant factor to replace the deceased Wolverine as the new linchpin of Universe 10005...
A new product launched at the Hot Toys Power Gate grand opening, with 300 sets available for early release at the new Kai Tak store. Hot Toys' first-ever release featuring Ryan Reynolds' unmasked face, this deluxe set includes three sculpted head sculpts, a meticulously detailed Wolverine skeleton, and a TVA portal diorama base, recreating the impactful opening sequence! The three new head sculpts include Ryan Reynolds' unmasked Deadpool, a half-masked version, and a battle-damaged masked version. Through groundbreaking sculpting and painting techniques, the sculptor has delicately reproduced Deadpool's scar textures and skin texture, while also featuring movable eyeball functionality, delivering unprecedented realism.
I absolutely adore this kind of character... The figure stands approximately 31 cm tall, with over 30 points of articulation throughout the body. The main body features a form-fitting black and red tight battle suit crafted from faux leather and silicone materials. The battle suit incorporates heavy battle-damaged weathering effects, and combined with tactical gear such as Desert Eagle dual pistols, a katana, and a dagger, it perfectly recreates intense battle scenes. To faithfully reproduce the classic movie opening scene where Deadpool uses Logan's "Adamantium skeleton" as a weapon to wreak havoc, specially crafted metallic silver Wolverine skeleton components are included, featuring a highly realistic Wolverine skull, various bone weapons, and steel claw hand sculpts, allowing for a series of combat poses. Furthermore, the specially designed snow-covered diorama base is adorned with withered trees and battle bloodstains, and also includes an LED light-up TVA portal design to enhance the display effect. Overall, it's full of playability and collector's value, with unrivaled poseability!!
Regarding the advantages, the figure's articulation is excellent, super poseable! The joint distribution is based on a real human body, allowing for any pose to be struck! All parts of the outfit also feature heavy battle-damaged weathering, giving it a very impressive appearance. The joints did not loosen even with vigorous posing, but this needs to be confirmed after some time. Besides a bunch of fists, pistols, daggers, bones, katanas... everything is included, and the magnetic interchangeable parts are also very convenient for collectors! The multiple interchangeable head sculpts with various expressions and the movable eyeballs are absolutely brilliant, so its playability is undoubtedly high.
The wrist joints are relatively delicate, so please be careful when handling it. My only remaining concern is the durability of the faux leather suit.
