Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS will release a new product based on the popular American adult animated series "South Park" – the "South Park Soft Vinyl Figures" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, and it is expected to be released in mid-April 2025!
"South Park" is an adult animated series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for Comedy Central, starting in 1997. For over two decades, it has boldly and uninhibitedly satirized American Hollywood, politics, and current events with various hilarious storylines. From 1999 to 2005, it was also broadcast on Taiwan's Channel V and Star Movies. The hilarious localized translations in the Mandarin dub, such as "Ah-Bian Ba-Ba Da-Xia" and "Golden Man's Look Here," are surely cherished memories for many toy enthusiasts, becoming classic memes!
This "South Park Soft Vinyl Figures" Gashapon set brings the four main characters from the animation – Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny – into three dimensions, creating soft vinyl figures approximately 4 cm tall. They faithfully reproduce the show's flat, simple line art style and iconic color schemes with flat painting! Soft vinyl figures of these four protagonists from various brands have been highly popular in the secondary market for years, making it somewhat challenging to find items in good condition at an affordable price. Therefore, "South Park" fans, don't miss this excellent opportunity to own them!
