Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series 'POP UP PARADE' has announced the latest products from the theatrical anime film 'GRIDMAN UNIVERSE', 'Yuta Hibiki L size' and 'Yomogi Asanaka L size', slated for release in October 2025.
The theatrical film 'GRIDMAN UNIVERSE' returns to the setting of the first work, 'SSSS.GRIDMAN': the computer world 'Tsutsujidai' where protagonist Yuta Hibiki and others live. It brings together protagonist Yomogi Asanaka from the sequel 'SSSS.DYNAZENON' and others for a dream collaboration. After Akane Shinjo, who created monsters, returned to the real world, and the mastermind Alexis Kerib was defeated by GRIDMAN, Tsutsujidai enjoyed peaceful daily life. However, just half a year later, mysterious monsters reappeared due to the convergence of multiple universes, leading the GRIDMAN Alliance to reassemble.
The two protagonists being commercialized, 'Yuta Hibiki' and 'Yomogi Asanaka', are released under the 'POP UP PARADE L size' specification. They boast a large size of approximately 23 cm in height, meticulously reproducing their trendy in-series outfits and colors. The figures capture them with smiling faces and fists bumping, expressing the bond of their collaboration against the mastermind in the theatrical film.
In addition to the individual sale versions, a limited two-figure set version is also simultaneously released. This set is 1,600 JPY cheaper than purchasing the two figures separately and includes a large circular base that can display both characters, printed with the 'GRIDMAN UNIVERSE' title.
