Among the abundant new Star Wars-themed releases recently announced by the Danish LEGO toy company, two new products are also making their debut in the "BrickHeadz" series, which reinterprets characters with oversized heads and chibi proportions. These are item number 40795, "Luke Skywalker (Rebel Pilot)", and item number 40796, "Revenge of the Sith Heroes & Villains"! They are scheduled for release on May 1, 2025, with suggested retail prices of US$9.99 and US$49.99 respectively.
First up is Luke Skywalker, the protagonist of the classic Star Wars trilogy. This set features 138 pieces and, once assembled, stands approximately 8 cm tall. It faithfully recreates the Rebel pilot uniform, predominantly orange and white, and the cool helmet from the movie "A New Hope". The red Alliance Starbird emblem is particularly striking. A personal favorite detail of mine is the ability to install two 1x2 orange transparent pieces to create the visual effect of wearing goggles; if you find the two studs between the eyes strange after removing the goggles, it shouldn't be too difficult to replace them with a tan flat tile.

Next is a character set designed around the 2005 film "Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith", featuring Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, Mace Windu, Emperor Palpatine, and the captivating cyborg villain General Grievous. Whether it's the Emperor unleashing Force lightning or Grievous wielding four (short) lightsabers, they become more endearing the more you look at them. Furthermore, by swapping out the eye pieces, you can depict Anakin's descent into the dark side, which is a fantastic feature for this set!
