Pixar's "Toy Story 5" is slated to hit theaters on June 19 next year, but official plot details have remained under wraps. However, Tim Allen, the comedic actor who voices Buzz Lightyear, has offered a glimpse into what fans can expect. In a recent interview with Buffalo, New York's local TV station WIVB, Allen revealed that Jessie, the spirited cowgirl introduced in "Toy Story 2," will once again be at the heart of the story.

Allen elaborated, stating that "Toy Story 5" is "largely about Jessie." He added that he and Tom Hanks, who voices Woody, "do get back together again," and that Buzz Lightyear has "a wonderful opening scene." Allen, who previously mentioned that recording for the fifth installment had been underway for some time, praised the script as "smart and amazing."
The upcoming sequel is directed by Andrew Stanton, known for helming the "Finding Nemo" series, and co-directed by McKenna Harris, who co-wrote "Luca." "Toy Story 5" is set to debut in theaters next summer.
