The popular soft vinyl toy series "MOVIE MONSTER SERIES" from Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. has launched a new sub-brand, "MOVIE MONSTER SERIES GLITTER," which incorporates LED devices and features lighting functions. The second product in this line is the "Type-3 Kiryu (2002) Absolute Zero Cannon ver."! The suggested retail price is 5,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in September 2025.
Appearing in "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla," Mechagodzilla, officially named "Multi-purpose Fighting System Type-3 (MFS-3)," is abbreviated as Type-3 Kiryu. It was created by the Japanese government using the bones of the original Godzilla salvaged from Tokyo Bay. Remotely controlled by its support aircraft "AC-3 Shirasagi," it is equipped with various armaments such as missiles, Type-0 Railguns, Maser Blades, and the Type-3 Absolute Zero Cannon, enabling it to contend with Godzilla.
The "MOVIE MONSTER SERIES GLITTER Type-3 Kiryu (2002) Absolute Zero Cannon ver." soft vinyl figure is made of soft vinyl, but its structure allows for an LED unit to be installed inside the main body, enabling the powerful ultimate weapon "Absolute Zero Cannon" hidden in its chest to display its ready-to-fire state! A light guide extending from the head allows the eyes to glow.
Hollow soft vinyl is combined with injection-molded parts to enhance the overall sculpting details; the paint application on each part has also been thoroughly updated, featuring a metallic silver finish!
