"The Batman" Sequel Delay: Robert Pattinson & Zoë Kravitz Eye New Thriller Project

Three years after its debut, "The Batman" sequel still lacks a completed script, a notably slow pace for a superhero film. Even star Robert Pattinson has reportedly joked in recent interviews that by the time the series concludes, he'll be old enough to retire.

Given the current situation, the wait for the sequel continues, as Pattinson and his "Catwoman" co-star Zoë Kravitz have already begun collaborating on a new project outside "The Batman" universe.

Deadline exclusively reported today that Kravitz, who earned strong reviews for her directorial debut "Blink Twice" last summer, is in talks with Sony Pictures to helm another thriller titled "How To Save A Marriage." Pattinson is currently attached as a producer, with a potential starring role not ruled out. The project remains in very early development, with plot details under wraps, though its style is reportedly akin to "Blink Twice."
