Searchlight Pictures announced today that the 2019 hit horror-comedy "Ready or Not" has officially begun principal photography in Toronto, Canada. The studio also unveiled additional new cast members joining the sequel, including Elijah Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, and Néstor Carbonell. Also among the new additions are Kevin Durand and Kathryn Newton, who previously worked with "Ready or Not" directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett on their upcoming film "Abigail".

Sci-fi horror master David Cronenberg, known for his frequent cameo appearances, is also part of this new cast. Cronenberg has previously made guest appearances in various film and television productions, including "Star Trek: Discovery" and "Alias".
Furthermore, the sequel's full title was finally revealed today as "Ready Or Not: Here I Come." Samara Weaving is set to reprise her starring role, with original screenwriters Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy returning to pen the script. Searchlight Pictures will continue to handle distribution, though a release date has not yet been announced.
