American designer toy brand KIDROBOT recently launched a new product based on the classic adult animated sitcom The Simpsons – the "Blinky in Fish Bowl" 5.5-inch vinyl toy. It will be available in a regular edition and a Kidrobot.com exclusive glow-in-the-dark radioactive edition. Both are priced at a suggested retail of US$74.99 and are expected to ship in Q4 2025!
Blinky the Three-Eyed Fish made a brief appearance in the third episode of the first season, "Homer's Odyssey." It is an orange fish with three eyes found in the waters near Springfield. Mr. Burns, during his campaign, repeatedly claimed that the fish's appearance symbolized Springfield's evolution, but it was actually a mutation caused by pollution from the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Later, Blinky also became the mascot for the Springfield Curling Team!
This vinyl toy stands approximately 13.9 cm tall, bringing Blinky the Three-Eyed Fish to life in a fishbowl. The sculpt faithfully recreates Blinky's unique design and details such as the stones at the bottom of the fishbowl, with paintwork that reproduces his in-show coloring! The Kidrobot.com exclusive glow-in-the-dark radioactive edition is crafted from phosphorescent material, emitting a yellow glow in the dark, showcasing an effect as if severely contaminated!
