Following the release of the "Gipsy Danger" from the "Life-Size Bust (ライフサイズバスト)" series under the theme of "Pacific Rim," Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio recently unveiled its latest successor: the "Gipsy Danger Battle Mode" (ジプシー・デンジャー バトルモード) non-scale bust! Shipping is scheduled to begin from July to October 2026, with a suggested retail price of 802,890 JPY (tax included), limited to 100 units.
In the "Pacific Rim" movie setting, Gipsy Danger is an American-made third-generation Jaeger, utilizing a neural float two-pilot operating system and equipped with a nuclear-powered turbine engine that can cool its reactor with seawater. Its combat style emphasizes close-quarters combat, possessing a stable lower body and power output, making it a balanced Jaeger that combines both defense and speed. Gipsy Danger's primary weapons are the "Plasma Cannon" located on both hands, and the "Chain Sword" which was added as a new armament later in the story.
This Gipsy Danger bust, making a powerful reappearance in its battle-ready state, stands approximately 75 cm tall and boasts an impressive total length of 114 cm! Not only does it directly provide the "with both arms" specification that was previously only available with the DX version of the Gipsy Danger, but the appearance of its Plasma Cannons ready for activation due to its combat stance is incredibly cool. Coupled with the heavy paint application throughout its body, realistic weathering effects, the significantly exposed mechanical internal structure of its right arm, and the LED light-up features located in the nuclear power engine, head signal lights, and right arm Plasma Cannon, it exudes an extremely powerful presence.
Similar to the previous Gipsy Danger, the head of this new release can also be opened to reveal the two pilots inside: the Beckett brothers, Raleigh and Yancy. What's incredibly awesome is that their poses have been updated to reflect the battle mode, which is fantastic! Paired with a base-style display stand, it fully showcases the immense scale of the Jaeger.
