BANDAI CANDY, the popular Shokugan (candy toy) product line from Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Shokugan division, today announced the commercialization of the new original Mobile Suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, the "DRAGOON Strike Gundam," which appears in the mobile game SD Gundam G Generation Eternal. The release date is yet to be determined.
The MBF-03+P208QX DRAGOON Strike Gundam appears in the original story "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Recollection" from SD Gundam G Generation Eternal. After the "Second Battle of Jachin Due" in September C.E. 71, Kira Yamato, who had engaged with the Providence Gundam, learned of the "DRAGOON System" and proposed an experimental plan to the Earth Alliance Forces. This mobile suit was ultimately completed in Orb.
The main body was constructed using spare parts from the Strike Rouge, possessing performance equivalent to its prototype, the "GAT-X105 Strike Gundam," and equipped with a high-energy beam rifle and anti-beam shield of the same specifications. The "P208QX DRAGOON Striker Pack" on its back is equipped with three fully detachable DRAGOON units, each housing a beam cannon, providing exceptionally outstanding firepower. To address the issue of insufficient energy supply, several batteries are mounted underneath. The combat experience Kira gained piloting this machine was later utilized when he piloted the "Strike Freedom Gundam," which also features the DRAGOON System.
