KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced the latest product, "Velletta ReACT-P," from their beautiful girl plastic model series "ARCANADEA," which blends fantasy and sci-fi elements. It is scheduled for release in September 2025.
The second character in the series, Velletta, is a water-attribute demon-type DEARS designed by illustrator necömi. Though quick-witted and often using her intelligence for mischief, she also has a kind-hearted side that can't ignore others in need. Velletta harbors admiration for her MASTER, but her tsundere personality prevents her from being honest, always treating them with a tough attitude. In the "ReACT" series, which changes character attributes, Velletta's water attribute has been changed to a dark attribute.
"Velletta ReACT-P" is a modified version based on the previously released standard edition. The molding colors and painted details of all body parts have been renewed to express her dark-attribute form with green hair, red demon horns, and red boots/socks. Furthermore, the face parts have been updated to four new expressions: "Shouting Face," "Scheming Face," "Crying Face," and "Mischief-Gone-Wrong Face," perfectly capturing Velletta's cute, mischievous, little devil personality.
Aside from the colors, the rest is essentially the same as the standard edition. The highly exposed body combines a biological feel with excellent articulation, reproducing her slender and beautiful figure. Some parts are pre-painted, allowing for a significant recreation of her design even with a straight build. In addition to the special pull-out structure of the knee joints, the wings, tail, side hair, and skirt all feature movable mechanisms, enabling a wide range of natural and dynamic poses.
Equipping her with weapons allows for the recreation of her combat state, giving the main body a more elaborate costume design. She features additional pairs of demon wings, side skirts, and a spear weapon. These armaments can also be combined to form a parasol for everyday use. Furthermore, each part of the product primarily uses 3mm joints for assembly and disassembly, allowing for creative customization of her attire or interchangeability and modification with numerous other plastic model products from KOTOBUKIYA.
