HEXA GEAR "Veloce Kai [Levante]" Featuring Super-Large Twin Swords for Aerial Melee Combat Specifications Debuts!

Developed by Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, the highly customizable model kit series "HEXA GEAR" has announced its latest product, "Veloce Kai [Levante]," slated for release in September 2025.

Veloce is the first unit created by HEXA GEAR series' new designer LAS91214, featuring a distinct design style compared to previous units. It primarily operates in robot mode but can also transform into a high-speed land vehicle mode and a flight mode to intercept aerial threats. This special specification, Veloce Kai [Levante], is designed for "aerial melee combat in robot mode" and is equipped with new armaments: "Super-Large Special Tactical Twin Swords, Xunfeng/Liefeng."

The "HEXA GEAR Veloce Kai [Levante]" is a modified version based on the previously released standard specification kit. More than half of the black armor parts on the main body have been changed to vermilion, and it features a newly designed dual-antenna head unit. Once assembled, the kit boasts an impressive height of approximately 24 cm, with a total of 110 movable joints and transformation mechanisms throughout its body, allowing it to transform and reproduce its robot, vehicle, and flight modes.

In terms of armaments, in addition to the two "Plasma Assault Rifles" equipped on the standard specification unit, the Veloce Kai [Levante] also features new dedicated armaments: "Super-Large Special Tactical Twin Swords, Xunfeng/Liefeng." The sword blades have a sliding mechanism to adjust their overall length, and the two swords can be combined into a 38 cm long twin-bladed sword form. Besides allowing for cool combat poses in robot mode, the two swords can also be mounted on either side of the unit in vehicle and flight modes.
